Phenom Phen, S-21 and the killing fields.

S-21 and the killing fields had a profound effect on me. Never before had I been confronted so directly with this type of human horror. 
The emotions I became consumed with on that day are still present in my memory.

My memories of Phenom Phen are mainly overshadowed by the recent history preserved near by. 
We did, however, have an otherwise relaxing stay in a beautiful guest house sat on the river.
