Getting quite restless in Laos, we mixed up our timing a bit so now in Vienetianne (the capital) too early and there's not much to do here... apart from eat cake! Tomorrow we'll try and be cultural again and visit a temple and the garden of buddhas but its very much once you've seen one you feel you've seen them all.
Had a massage yesterday and think i shocked the girl with all my bruising - must have thought i'd been beaten up or something!
I did end up going to the caves with that group of people which was really fun- we bought baguettes and then cycled to get there but instead of paying to go to the main cave we found this pool which led into another cave. Was really scary but we had head torches and swam for about 20mins inside- amazing!
Had a horrible bus ride down here, i was stuck between 2 big, sweaty american men in the back of a mini van along really windy roads! Laura sat next to a really nice Laos guy in the front who told her that the fat guy i was sitting next to had offered him money for sex which had really shocked him- and made me feel very sick!
Quite excited to get to australia for something new but think the prices of everything will be a shock to the system...
